Ingredients
- ½ cup macadamia nuts
- 2 large handfuls fresh basil
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup Parmesan (or nutritional yeast for vegan)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Toast (optional): Lightly toast macadamias for 2–3 minutes.
- Blend: Pulse macadamias, basil, garlic, and lemon juice.
- Drizzle: Slowly pour in olive oil while processing.
- Season: Add Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Store: Cover surface with olive oil. Refrigerate up to a week.
